This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Will! hello, it's Dags, I didn't know you were on dA... :: well, we learn something new every day now, don't we. Nice to see you here, tho! ::meanders off to surf through Will's gallery::
No problem! The lighting on your hand is awesome, you really nailed that shot. What kind of shutter speed were you using? You've got a nice clean exposure, but the lighting was pretty low... I'm still trying to work that out on my, so you have to help me now! ^_^

Shutter was like 1/15 or 1/30... I would guess somewhere in there. We placed her hand then held up a piece of white paper to white balance... that's about it. I was holding it too, I don't think I brought my tripod... think it would have turned out better if I had? Oh and I thinked I bumped the ISO to 100 or 200 the exposure wasn't jacked up I don't think... but it you're having trouble capturing true colours try messing with your exposure just to test things out, or just I would crank the aperature and bump the ISO. Well that was a lot to say! did it make any sense at all? I'm gonna look up and see if there's like a guide to this, I'm only half way through my summer course right now

Jah, it made sense indeed... Thank you! And it almost always turns out better on a tripod, I suggest you get one... But as someone who, for all intents and purposes, carries a tripod around for a living, I highly suggest that you get a light one... Hell, I'll even do a tutorial on different methods of holding and carrying the damn thing around, if you like.
Anyway, the lowest ISO setting on my d70 is 200, and it goes all the way up to 1600, so I doubt that's my problem... and that's a damn good picture for a handheld shot at 1/30, you must have a rock-solid hands. I'm thinking what probably made the difference was setting the white-balance appropriately to the lighting, which is something I really should know to do. Anyhow, do you use AIM? We should really talk and compare notes on this sorta thing.
